Henry Vigar, the chef patron of La Mouette, spent a number of years making a name for himself in fine cuisine at various top-ranked and Michelin starred establishments. La Mouette, meaning seagull in French, was named after the seagulls so often seen riding the breeze at Cape Town’s Seapoint. Expect a menu inspired by flavors of Southern France with a meticulous selection of complementary wines. Try the Gin and Tonic Dessert – it comes highly recommended.
