Ugandans love to dance, whether its on a night out or at a house party, a good time always involves some form of dancing! A great way to learn some moves and keep up on the dance floor is through Cheza, the Ugandan version of Zumba. Cheza is a popular dance fitness class you can find at most gyms in the city as well as one if the dance classes available at the national theater. A drop in class is approximately 20,000 ugx and is often packed so I recommend getting there early to secure a spot. Cheza is often done to local music, afro beat or dancehall and is a fun way to learn some dance moves and workout at the same time.
