Founded in 2009, Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa (CDAP) is a platform for research, experimentation and studies on contemporary art. Located in the Pombal Palace, CDAP managed to bring a mixture of history, architecture and artistic programs. Its intent is to provide a network for the exchange of information between artists, theorists, students, producers and audience. In 2013, the interest of the project was seen by the Secretary of State of culture for the purpose of “cultural patronage”. Being a non-profit organization, CDAP can now benefit from donations under the law of Patronage. If you’re into contemporary art, this definitely might be the p(al)lace for you!
