When you walk past bistrot Paul Bert, the cosy authentic furniture and mouthwatering kitchen smells will certainly seduce you to step inside. Although the interior is, as the name suggests, that of a casual French bistrot, this extraordinary bistrot’s quality of food is more what you would expect in a chic high-end restaurant. The restaurant is renowned for its Saturday lunches and everybody is head over heels about Paul Bert’s coddled eggs and Sarawak filet steak. Of course marvelous food must be accompanied by perfect wines, and the bistrot indeed has one of the best wine menus in Paris.
