With a whopping 10.000 square meters of exhibition space divided over 3 floors, the ‘Palazzo delle Esposizioni’ is the largest contemporary art exhibition area in the heart of Rome. The neo-classical building was designed by Pio Piacentini and built in 1883. It covers a cinema, auditorium, theater, lecture hall, library, book shop and restaurant (with a great view over the city!). Check their website for current exhibitions.
