The Pantheon may be well known, but when you are in Rome it cannot be skipped. It’s one of the best preserved ancient buildings you can find in this city. After almost two thousand years it’s the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome. From the outside it looks like a temple, but inside it is a basilica, dedicated to St. Mary and the Martyrs. When visiting the Pantheon, take some time to have a cup of coffee in ‘Caffè Eustacchio‘ which is close by. They will serve up one of the best coffees Rome has to offer.
